S: Safe play all of the time. Play with control and be
conscious of your surroundings.
M: Members only. Anyone who plays on your team needs to be
listed on your roster. One off substitutes must be listed on your roster
or an active TCSSC roster.
A: Attend online info session and read rules every season. This
will keep you up to speed on new issues.
R: Report all injuries which require medical attention and
incidents if you desire official TCSSC investigation.
T: Talk to the other team. Together, TCSSC members can make
a fun and safe playing environment
It is the responsibility of both team captains/co-captains to submit
their scores and spirit scores for league online through the T.E.A.M.
System by 5:00 p.m. the day following their game.

ETIQUETTE. THIS INCLUDES RULES PERTAINING TO DRESS CODE AND
BEHAVIOUR.
1. Equipment:
Players are
responsible for bringing their own tennis racquets and balls.

2. Game Time/Default:
Please arrive 15
minutes early to ensure that your games start on time. Games are one (1)
hour in length. Teams should play as many games as they can within the
given time. Teams are comprised of two (2) players (one man and one
woman). A default will occur if either member of a team is not present 10
minutes after the official start time. Aside from defaulting the match,
this team will also forfeit part of their default bond (see section 4
below).

3. General Rules:
i.
Proper tennis scoring should be used to score your matches.
ii. The team that has won the most games at the end of the hour
will be considered the winner. . If you are unable to complete a game
because time has elapsed, the unfinished game will not count towards the
overall match score. Ties are allowed.
iii. If a discrepancy over a line call cannot be resolved, the
point should be re-served. Save your breath for running.

4. Default Bond:
Teams must be
represented at each of their games. If you are unable to make it to a
game, it is your responsibility to find a substitute for the evening. In
the event that you are unable to find a suitable replacement (male for
male, female for female), your team will forfeit $20 from your default
bond payment. A $20 deduction will be made each and every time you default
a match.

5.
Cancellations:
Game cancellations are the decision of the Tennis Club and not the TCS&SC.
In the event of a cancelled game, it is the teams' responsibility to
coordinate with one another and reschedule the game for another night by
contacting the Tennis Club.

6. Reporting your
result:
Both teams must
report the result of their match to the event coordinator. Event
coordinators only need to know whether you have won, lost or tied - they
don't need to know the score of the match.
